Registration

 

Principal investigators (PIs) must register to obtain a valid Biosafety Certificate before working with any biohazardous material. This registration is reviewed and approved by the Biosafety Committee.

To register for the use of biohazardous materials, the following forms must be completed and submitted to the Biosafety Officer:

If you will be working with human material you must also complete an exposure control plan. Please contact the Biosafety Officer to find out more about this plan.

Biosafety registrations must be updated at least annually using the online registration of biological materials database. If you want to make changes to your registration, please contact the Biosafety Officer.
