Health & safety orientation

 

UVic Health and Safety Orientation is the first step to help prepare you for the job before you start working. The goals are to create an ongoing commitment to health and safety during your time at UVic and to ensure compliance with WorkSafeBC.

New employees are required to complete the orientation and training under one of the following categories:

1. Faculty and staff with a regular appointment

• You will receive an email with instructions once your Netlink ID has been set up. This process requires an electronic sign-off.

2. Casual employees

• Please download and review the Health & Safety Orientation Handbook. This process does not require an electronic sign-off.
