Occupational hygiene

 

The Occupational Hygiene programs help in the anticipation, recognition, evaluation and control of workplace environmental health hazards. These hazards fall into the following categories:

• Chemical hazard – any chemical that can cause injury or illness
• Biological hazard – any biological organism that is infectious or pathological
• Physical hazard – any form of sound, heat, cold, or vibration that could result in an occupational injury or illness

 

The Occupational Hygiene programs include the following:

• Indoor Air Quality Program
• Respiratory Protection Program
• Hearing Conservation Program
• Smoke Free Program
