WHMIS for Non-Lab Workers
The Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) is the Canadian national system used to provide information to workers about potentially hazardous materials in the workplace. This training session will provide an overview of the three basic components of the WHMIS system: warning labels, Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and worker education. WorkSafeBC requires training for all personnel working with controlled products in Canada. This course is designed for non- laboratory workers.
